Description
A re-rendered version of Day 49, in original Japanese... And my own handwriting
"Fall seven times, stand up eight."
I've always meant to do typography this way, and tonight - with no impending tests, no homework and the next deadline a few days away - I just sat down and did it. It isn't perfect, of course, but I'm happy with the way it turns out... I mean, as Mr. Emerson once said, "every artist was first an amateur" eh?
I don't actually know Japanese, but it resembles Chinese characters enough. Next time I think I'll play with English words.
Consider this an extended part of my One Hundred Quotes project, which you can read about here [link]
Quick link to the rest of my entries [link]
For Italian translations, please check out the wonderful arianna96's gallery [link]
Tell me what you think about it
Thanks for stopping by -
I hope you like what I have, and that it paints a smile on your face.
Have a nice day, and keep smiling!
Joyce
